Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Before arrival, guests will be sent explicit directions on how to find the house and tips on navigating the road and driveway.

Property Access

  • Due to the home's location, tucked away on the side of a mountain ridge, AWD or 4WD is required year-round.
  • The last mile to the house is a single lane gravel road and the property has a steep gravel driveway with several switchbacks.
  • In times of snow or ice, a very capable vehicle will be needed to access the home.
  • Ten steps are necessary to access the main level from the parking area.

Policies and Rules

  • Due to neighborhood restrictions, the following are not permitted: motorcycles, ATVs, RVs, trailers, fireworks, drones, firearms or large unauthorized gatherings (parties of more than 12 people and/or more than 4 vehicles).
  • House Rules:
    • No smoking allowed.
    • Minimum age: 25 years.
    • Children allowed.
    • No events allowed.
  • The homeowner occasionally has pets in the home, but it is not pet friendly to rentals. Pets are not permitted.
  • Maximum occupancy: 10 guests.

Fees and Payments

  • CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking Information

  • Due to neighborhood restrictions, no more than 4 vehicles are permitted.
  • The last mile to the house is a single lane gravel road; the property has a steep gravel driveway with several switchbacks.
  • Free parking is provided.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals.
  • There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and linens are provided.
  • Hair dryer is provided.
  • Internet is provided by satellite (Starlink) with speeds ranging from 20-100 Mbps.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • Owner monitors the driveway of the home with security camera, but interior and hot tub/deck area is not monitored.
  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are provided.
